Shyla Bharadia
Shyla Bharadia is a third year BHSc Biomedical Sciences major and is minoring in Visual Studies and Art History. As someone who is passionate about interdisciplinary experiences, Shyla is excited to see what can be accomplished at the intersection of art and science as part of the Art of Mindfulness project, while also advocating for mental health and mental health research at UCalgary.
Preet Sahota
As a dual-degree student in Business and Computer Science, preserving and maintaining the mental health of her peers and herself has growingly become a priority for Preet, especially given the circumstances with online learning. Through our upcoming Art of Mindfulness gallery, Preet hopes to learn more about the arts and explore her creative side, while promoting mental wellbeing amongst the student community.
Allesha Eman
Allesha is in her third year of her Bachelor of Health Sciences Honours degree in the fall. She is involved in developmental neuroscience research and is an advocate for mental health awareness. Allesha is thrilled to begin working on this incredible initiative and looks forward to seeing what all the artists create for the Art of Mindfulness project.
Tarannum Rahnuma
Tarannum Rahnuma is in her third year as a BSc Neuroscience major at the University of Calgary. Through her academic experiences and art practice, she aims to understand and explore the brain. Tarannum is an avid-art lover interested in promoting social change through art, so she is excited to work with the Art of Mindfulness team to raise money for mental health research.
